Meadville KOA is preparing to host our second annual Vintage RV Rally.  According to Tim Chilson, who has owned the campground with his wife Robyn nearly 18 years, they hope to continue to grow this event each year.

“We had been hosting a successful for car shows for 9 years.  Last year, we combined it with a vintage RV rally. While we had only a few vintage RVs attend our first vintage RV rally,” we hope as more people hear about it, more will attend future rallies. We’re planning to host one each season the weekend immediately following the Memorial Day.  To the best of our knowledge, there are very few on the East Coast area, and we’re currently the only one in Pennsylvania.”

According to Chilson, their furthest and most unique Vintage RV was from Indianapolis IN (shown above).  They also had Vintage RVs travel from Hague VA, Ohio, and Southern Pennsylvania.  Several of the Vintage RV owners also entered their tow vehicles and other vintage autos in the vintage car show and took home trophies.

Located in Western Pennsylvania at 25164 State Route 27, the Meadville KOA is one of 500 open-to-the-public KOA campgrounds in the Kampgrounds of America system in the U. S. and Canada.
